APPLY FOR ESA & STOs

To make Catholic education affordable and accessible, we require every family to apply to ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Accounts) and at least six (6) STOs (School Tuition Organizations). These applications help reduce out-of-pocket expenses for tuition.

• Deadline: All confirmation pages from ESA and STO applications must be placed in the Family Registration Envelope and returned to the front office by April 16, 2025.

• Important: Families will receive a Family Registration envelope containing detailed instructions on how to apply to ESA and STOs. Once you complete the applications, please print the confirmation pages and return them with the envelope.

Please note: All registration steps must be completed online, and the registration envelope will only be accepted once all parts of the registration are completed and the confirmation pages are included.

Additional Information for ESA Applicants:

• Renewing Families: If you are renewing your ESA contract for the 2025-2026 school year, you will receive a renewal contract via email in mid-May. You do not need to reapply for ESA if you have already been awarded a scholarship for the upcoming year. Please include your existing ESA contract and a note about your renewal in the registration envelope, along with the renewal email confirmation.



• New Families: ESA scholarships must be applied for, but contracts will be signed in May. Remember, registration is only complete once your Family Registration Envelope is submitted to the front office.
  

SOLICITAR ESA Y STO

Para hacer que la educación católica sea asequible y accesible, requerimos que cada familia solicite ESA (Cuentas de Becas de Empoderamiento) y al menos seis (6) STOs (Organizaciones de Matrícula Escolar). Estas solicitudes ayudan a reducir los gastos de bolsillo para la matrícula.

NOTICE REGARDING TUITION FUNDING PROGRAMS

The State of Arizona provides several options to assist families in paying for your child's Catholic education, including the Empower Scholarship Account (ESA) Program and through State Tuition Organization (STO) tax credit funds. These programs are offered through the State and/or through the individual STO, and are not managed by the School.

Therefore, you are responsible for compliance with all terms, conditions to eligibility, and legal requirements related to any programs in which you participate. Please note, in particular, that pursuant to state law, if you choose to utilize an Empower Scholarship Account, you may not utilize STO funds (or vice versa).

The School is not responsible for ensuring your compliance with this or any other term, condition, law or requirement relating to tuition assistance programs. Furthermore, please be aware that payment of your child's tuition is your responsibility, whether or not you choose to participate in ESA, STO, or any other programs or options to assist your family. These programs may not cover 100% of the cost of tuition and fees, and therefore any outstanding portion will remain your responsibility.
